Welcome, Hot Dogs!
Hello, Hot Dogs!
I’m Jen Flynn, proud principal and a 1995 graduate of Frankfort High School. This is my third year serving as principal of FHS, and I bring more than 20 years of experience in school administration. I hold degrees from Purdue University and Indiana Wesleyan University. My journey in education was inspired by two incredible mentors—my high school golf coach and English teacher—who instilled in me a love for learning, teaching, and helping others.
My husband, Kevin, and I live in Clinton County with our daughters, Elise and Celia, who proudly attend Community Schools of Frankfort. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, attending our daughters’ events and FHS activities, watching sports, and playing pickleball.
After celebrating the remarkable milestone of Frankfort High School’s 150th graduating class last year, we are excited to begin another important chapter in our school’s history. This year, we are especially looking forward to welcoming the first cohort of Gem City University students.
Frankfort High School is proud to be the only Early College High School in Clinton County. Through Gem City University and Indiana College Core program, students have opportunities to earn college credits while receiving the support, guidance, and personal attention of FHS teachers and staff. We continue working toward expanding these opportunities so that students may eventually earn an associate degree while still in high school, potentially saving families thousands of dollars in college tuition.
With more than 24 career pathways, an award-winning fine arts program, competitive athletics, and a wide variety of academic and extracurricular opportunities, every Hot Dog has the chance to discover a passion and prepare for a successful future. Whether students plan to attend college, enter the workforce, pursue a skilled trade, or serve in the military, our goal is to ensure they graduate prepared for the path ahead.
At FHS, excellence is not simply a goal; it is who we are. We remain committed to building strong relationships, creating meaningful opportunities, and helping every student thrive. We look forward to a school year filled with growth, achievement, opportunity, and Hot Dog Pride!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jen Flynn
