The Indiana State Department of Health is requiring all students entering grade 12 in the fall of 2023 to receive a Meningococcal(MCV4) booster dose along with two Hepatitis A. It is now required that all students in K through 12th grade must have two Hepatitis A immunizations.

If you have medical insurance that covers immunizations then you need to make an appointment with your physician, call The Health Department at 659-6385, or you may go to a local pharmacy.  The Clinton County Health Department is available for all students who do not have medical insurance for immunizations. According to Indiana State Law (IC 20-34-4-2) all students are to have received all immunizations required by the Indiana State Department of Health to remain in school. Proof of immunization must be presented to the School Nurse within twenty days of the beginning of the 2023-24 school year to remain in school. Once you have received the boosters please present the paperwork to the School Nurse or send her an email. As long as your child has reached his or her 16^th birthday, then this required immunization can be received.

El Departamento de Salud de Indiana requiere que todos los estudiantes que entran al grado 12 en este otoño del 2020 deben recibir una dosis de refuerzo de la inyección Meningococcal(MCV4)  junto con Hepatitis A.

Todos los estudiantes de jardin de infantes a 12 grado deben tener dos vacunas contra Hepatitis A.

Si tiene seguros médicos que cubren las inmunizaciones debe hacer una cita con su médico, o llame al Departamento de Salud a 659-6385 o puede ir a farmacia. Si no tiene seguros médicos, puede ir a la Clínica de Clinton County Immunization Clinic ubicada en el Hospital IU Health en el 3er piso. La

Clínica está disponible para todo estudiante que no tenga seguros médicos para las inmunizaciones. Para hacer una cita con la Clínica de Inmunizaciónes del Condado de Clinton por favor llame al at 659-6385.

Segun la Ley del Estado de Indiana (IC 20-34-4-2) todos los estudiantes deben haber recibido todas las inmunizaciones requeridas por el Departamento Estatal de Salud de Indiana para poder permanecer en la escuela. El comprobante de haber recibido la inmunización debe ser entregado a la Enfermera de la Escuela dentro de veinte días de comenzar el año escolar 2023-24 para poder permanecer en la escuela. Cuando su hijo haya recibido la dosis de refuerzo de la inyección, por favor entregue el papel comprobante a la enfermera escolar. Siempre y cuando su hijo o hija tenga los 16 años, entonces puede recibir esta inmunización obligatorio.
