Hot Dogs!
Dear FHS Families:
I hope you have had a wonderful summer! Now it’s officially time to start thinking of returning to school! We are looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year with our Hot Dog students and staff.
This year we will be focusing on academic growth and creating opportunities to learn about and experience career pathways.
The first day of school for all FHS students is Thursday, August 3. School begins at 7:30 am each day. On the first day of school, all students should enter Door 27 to pick up a schedule.
From August 5 through the end of the school year, students will enter Door 1, the main doors of FHS, which open at 7:10 am each day. At FHS, we stress the importance of excellent attendance and arriving on time. Please help make this a priority with your student. School begins at 7:30 am and releases at 2:45 pm.
CSF owned laptop computers will be distributed within the first days of school. Insurance is available on a yearly basis and renewal is recommended each year. The cost is $25. Students may purchase the insurance in the bookstore.

The FHS Student Handbook is located on our website at https://fhs.frankfortschools.org/ Click on the Students tab and “Student Handbook”. Highlights from the handbook that affect students directly are outlined in the second page of this letter.
FHS Picture Day will be on August 24th for grades 9-12. Students and families who are not interested in having their picture or name used in FHS publications, including online platforms, should fill out a form in the main office.

Estimadas familias de FHS:
¡Oficialmente es hora de empezar a pensar en volver a la escuela! Esperamos con ansias el año escolar 2023-2024 con nuestros estudiantes y personal de Hot Dog. Este año nos centraremos en el crecimiento académico y en la creación de oportunidades para aprender y experimentar caminos profesionales.
El primer día de clases para todos los estudiantes de FHS es el jueves 3 de agosto. La escuela comienza a las 7:30 am todos los días y concluye a las 2:45 pm.
